Her two daughters, Olympe and Marguerite, joyfully followed the example of their mother and entered the congregation.  Olympe became the ‘right hand’ of the foundress who confided important responsibilities to her despite her young age.  Marguerite’s life was less eventful. 

Both daughters died while still very young. Emilie’s two sons were married.  Adrien married an Italian, Aurore Guadagni.  Edmond married Marie de Bassano, Belgian and to this day they have numerous descendents.
